In the summer months Döse is on of the most frequented places of the vacation guests. Here you can take a sunbath at the beach, trying to get cooled at the high tide in North Sea water or, by low water, take a walk in the mud to prielen. Near the Kugelbake with the following maindyke you can admire the relativel close by-pulling ships on the Elbe. In direct proximity is also the Kugelbake-Hall, in which all year round numerous meetings take place. Beside the Kugelbake-Hall is the Kurpark resounds to admire in that it numerous animal species give-visits. You can also visit  Fort Kugelbake, which was opened some years ago completely and is, together with Fort Thomsen, Germany´s last received Marineforts. Also frequently open air meetings take place here.
